"I am truly honored to have been selected as a recipient of the 2006 Dr. Thomas Kim Memorial Scholarship. I would also like to thank SNUAA for providing financial support for my studies in Economics at the University of Chicago.

This award is very meaningful to me in many asepcts. First of all, it gives me greater motivation to focus on my studies in line with Dr. Thomas Kim's desire to make contributions to this society. Secondly, as an alumnus of Seoul National University, the award has brought me into a feeling that I should do something valuable to SNUAA in the near future. Lastly, it further encourages me to grow into a socially responsible economist who can consider those in need.

Keeping the inspiration of the award in mind, I promise to remain responsible and to continue hardworking in my education and research. "
